Dear Sir,
Your intervention with the Center for Free Cuba regarding the incident on 07/26 involving the TVN journalist during the protests in Washington DC is misguided and inappropriate. As Ambassador of Poland, you are intervening in the internal affairs of the private American business Discovery, Inc.
The mere fact that the perpetrator of the incident is Polish does not entitle you to engage the authority of the Office in defense of a citizen who caused this scandalous incident; TVN reporter himself provoked the incident by calling on the protesters to behave in a certain way, which is a total amateurism and journalistic no-no.
I also don’t recall your intervention in legitimate and justified protests of another Polish citizen in the US, whom Facebook has harassed, banned, and silenced since he ran for president in 2020. Facebook’s ban of a Polish citizen during his presidential campaign is an intervention of a foreign corporation into electoral process in Poland.
You are being reprimanded. Please expedite your support for Consul Kubicki’s efforts i in the matter asap.
