Mr. Grzegorz Sajór
Director
Television News Agency (TAI)
Polish Television (TVP)
Dear Mr. Sajór,
I was pleased to read your invitation to include the Polish diaspora in your promotional project, so that “we can learn even more about what you are doing.”
As you rightly observe, as quoted on TVP’s website: “We would like these Poles to show what great things they are doing, how they preserve tradition and memory, and what they contribute to their new communities.”
The words of the Polish national anthem, Mazurek Dąbrowskiego, speak of the strength of Polonia in rebuilding the homeland, of a Poland that “has not yet perished, so long as we still live.” That “WE” is Polonia—the Poles abroad, marching toward the land of Kościuszko, Pulaski, and Paderewski.
Just as Ignacy Paderewski developed his concept of a United States of Poland in 1917—a precursor to the future Polish Republic—and presented it to U.S. President Woodrow Wilson, so in 2020 I presented my own concept of a United States of Poland to President Donald Trump and Polish politicians.
In response to your appeal to Polonia, I am enclosing an excerpt from my July 4, 2020, Proclamation announcing the establishment of the United States of Poland.
I have lived in America for nearly 40 years. I am writing this letter on October 11, 2026, the 247th anniversary of the death of Kazimierz Pulaski in America.
In 2011, following ten years of research during which I:
-
- established the location of Pulaski’s death in Savannah;
- examined, together with Dr. Burns, the remains of Pulaski discovered beneath his monument in Georgia;
- discovered at the National Museum a painting of Franciszka Krasińska that had been believed lost;
I wrote the screenplay for PULASKI, a three-hour feature film conceived as a sequel to Mel Gibson’s THE PATRIOT, with a score by my late friend Jan A.P. Kaczmarek, an Academy Award-winning composer.
The Polish Film Institute (PISF) refused to fund further screenplay development, while TVP declined to commit to working with a Hollywood film studio on the project. As a result, the project collapsed, despite my plans to release the film for the centenary of Poland’s regaining independence in 2018.
I believe that the fact I am writing to you—by a curious coincidence—on the 247th anniversary of Pulaski’s death carries some transcendent message from beyond, in response to your appeal for Polonia to show “what great things we are doing” and how we “preserve tradition.”
Among Polonia’s other achievements, I created:
-
- The “Mówię Jak Jest” (“Telling It Like It Is”) movement, which helped propel politicians into positions of power;
- The #RREVOLUTION movement, which helped remove politicians from those positions;
- MaxTV—the Polish Voice of America, for decades one of the most popular Polish-language television platforms on the Internet, whose films reached an audience three times larger than Poland’s entire population.
Three years ago, MaxTV was removed from YouTube and Facebook following reports by activists from Poland.
Another remarkable success was the decision to prevent me—the candidate representing Polonia—from running in Poland’s 2020 presidential election, in which I intended to campaign under the slogan POLAND TO MAX (POLSKA NA MAXA).
The political turmoil surrounding the exclusion of an independent Polonia candidate from Poland’s presidential election is documented in my one-hour film AGENT STARLINK 2, which is currently breaking viewership records on MaxTVGO.com.
In 2022, even before the outbreak of the war, I proposed my Polish Peace Plan for Ukraine, #PolandPeacePlan4Ukraine, to politicians in Poland. I made the proposal public in an effort to prevent a tragic war and the future events that I anticipated would follow.
On March 17, 2025, in a confidential letter to President Trump, partially published on MaxTV, I presented modifications to that plan, together with analyses of the future dynamics of a conflict threatening the security of Poland, Europe, and the world. Those developments are now unfolding.
Finally, in my spare time—which I do not have much of—I make traditional Kurpie-style Polish paper cutouts at home. Unfortunately, I am not very good at it yet, so I have decided not to enclose any with this letter.
With kind regards, and best wishes for “Polska na Tak” (“Poland Says Yes”)
